Tytyana Miller

On May 29, 2022, rapper Master P Miller announced his daughter Tatyana Miller on his social media platforms. She is one of nine children that Master P. Miller shares with his ex-wife. Tatyana Miller What’s 29 years old when Tatyana passed away; she was pronounced dead on the scene and was not taken to the hospital.

Police officers suspect that she died of an overdose. It hasn’t been confirmed or denied that that’s what caused her death, but she also suffered from mental. Master P. Miller has confirmed that Tatyana Miller, his daughter, died from a drug overdose, which Tatyana had been battling for decades.

It’s difficult when a parent loses a child, no matter how they lose it. It’s always been said there is no way to prepare for the loss of a child. I always believe it’s challenging for a child of celebrity parents like Tatyana Miller not to feel the pressure of being perfect because all eyes are on the children wheater they want or not.

Please let not forget that the same public criticizing those children for having the parents they do are the same people who never tell the children no when they see or feel that child is going overboard because of the easy access these kids have to money.

So Tatyana Miller sought help for her substance abuse with drugs and alcohol. But unfortunately, it’s unclear if she received any support for the mental illness she was suffering from.

As I keep writing stories about people battling mental health, I have realized that it’s easy for the world to say just go get help. But how is anyone like Tatyanna, who probably thought that she fixes one problem by adding another one to her already clouded mind?

In my opinion, mental illness is shameful for any society but even more for the African-American community. Mental illness is a global problem that we don’t speak about because of shame. Not understanding what can cause mental illness.

The main thing that family and friends must know about someone who has to live with mental illness we could want help for them, but if they are refusing the service for themselves because they feel like their illness has not taken control over them.

Mental illness has so many ways of covering up any issues that we might be running from; that’s why I believe challenging to identify who or why this person has a mental illness.

As people, we don’t walk around the world saying I have a mental illness even though we yell from the top of our lungs about it so we can get treated for it and begin having meaningful conversations about it.

I’m not saying there are not some mental illnesses that don’t deserve medication; they are out there. However, I feel the medical field is rapidly prescribing medication without trying to get to the root of the problem first.

Drugs numb the issues, or it comes to another problem that must also be dealt with because people with mental illness have a way of becoming code dependent on drugs. If we stop being shameful, we start saving lives and even our own lives. We need to start talking and try to find a solution to the problem of mental illness.
